What’s Included:

• 1 Pint Jar with lid, pre-punched with holes
• 2 Sterile Filters
• 2 Injection Ports
• 2 Grams of Light Malt Extract (LME)
• 1 Stir Bar

Optional Add-On:
For just $2 more, add a syringe and a syringe needle for a complete setup.

Instructions:

1. Clean Your Materials: Thoroughly clean the jar, lid, and included stir bar.
2. Prepare the Mix: Add up to half the included LME (1 gram) to the jar.
3. Add Water and Mix: Place the stir bar back in the jar, then fill with clean water up to the 300ml mark. Swirl the jar gently to dissolve the LME and ensure an even mix.
4. Assemble the Lid: Place one filter sticker over a hole, and insert injection port into the other. If the injection port doesn’t seat flat, place it on the jar and push with a finger while twisting to help it settle.
5. Seal the Jar: Attach the lid and ring securely.
6. Cover for Sterilization: Cover the jar top with aluminum foil to keep the top as dry as possible.
7. Sterilize: Pressure cook at 15 psi for 30 minutes, or use an Instant Pot at high pressure for 45 minutes. Allow the jar to cool completely before inoculating.
